Well it's no secret that I've never been a huge Dumba fan... It's just too bad he makes such stupid decisions because he does come up huge for this team at times.

He's just not a very good defenseman. I wouldn't mind if BB tried making him a wing. Because there's no doubt he's got a bevy of untapped offensive potential.

I'm still a Dumba fan. That's why I have felt that BB needed to sit Suter down and explain "look, you are the best d-man this team has, you are an excellent defender. But this kid already is better offensively then you are. You need to be the defensive anchor to Dumba's offensive outbursts".

Now that Suter is gone for the season, I think this will hamper Dumba's game. He has been able to reply on either Suter or Brodin having the defensive posture when paired with him. Now that he will probably be playing with Seeler, he will HAVE to concentrate more on the defensive game. As I type this, I guess this could be a good thing. If he can figure out the defensive game more over this last week (a lot of years of learning put into 1 week), then his game will grow. I guess you could say that this is going to hurt the Wild two-fold right now. First, they are without Suter, their top D man. Secondly, if Dumba does concentrate more on D, the Wild lose out again, as they will be missing the offensive upside that Dumba brings. With that missing, all of the Wild forwards will have to up the offensive games.
