Personally, I'm mostly watching to see if Lee can net 40+ goals.

Gonna need a minimum of 5 goals over the last 10 games. Entirely possible for him, he seems to have rebounded from his funk a little lately.

Seems almost impossible that we see Bellows in an Islanders jersey this season. Possible, but extremely unlikely.

I have not watched the ISlanders in weeks and will not watch until Garth Snow is fired. I like Barzal and some of the younger guys we have here. The rest of them can all go for all I care. We have no defense no goaltending another moronic coaching staff. I am sick of seeing the same script each year. I prefer to watch some exciting hockey and have been watching other teams instead. Its sad after such a great start to the season it has come to this but to the rest of you who are wasting your time watching I am sorry you have to go through this. So long Isles

Like Dal Colle overrated, or Elias Lindholm overated?

He needs to work on his skating for sure and is probably a little overrated by a lot of Islander fans...but he's still a pretty solid prospect.

He definitely could do it, and I think he will. The Sens, Hawks and Leafs will be the victims me thinks.

Ideally he'd score all five against the Rangers.

Yeah it's entirely possible. If he hadn't scored a bunch of goals recently, I would think that it were probably not going to happen...but he's managed to get hot again so I wouldn't rule it out.

More like Lindholm overrated.

He's gonna be a player, but his numbers aren't really all that special when you consider the state of the WHL this season.

Serious, not trolling question:

How did Barzal and Tavares look together?

Any early verdict?

I didn't get to watch the game, but by looking at the NHL.com shift chart, it looks like they started the game playing together, but maybe they abandoned the idea after the 1st period?

And Barzal and Bailey both played the final two minutes of the game?

Oh for sure. He'll be an NHLer, without a doubt, but he's not the top-end scorer that a lot of people seem to think he is for some reason.

Well thats not too bad. The way some talk about him, you'd think he was the second coming of Omark.

Weird. Frustrated.

JT is not a winger.

I think if he ever managed to be a little more fleet of foot he could be a reasonably-dangerous player. But he is slooooow.

I am, realistically, hoping for him to be a really good middle-6 winger than can pot 20-25 ever year. He's got a decent physical game, so I can see him being one of those bang-and-crash guys that can shoot, too. If he can score a little and crush guys on the forecheck I think I'm OK with that.

I still can't believe Sorokin has 5 shutouts in 6 playoff games and a .17GAA

Pretty sure he's been healthy-scratched a few times too.

Yeah he COULD turn the switch and be Mark Stone, but I think he's gonna be a 15~ goal winger that plays a physical game.

I remember reading that too. Hopefully a career in hockey wasn't his only life plan.

He is the hero Garth Snow needs, but not the one he deserves.
