One of the things that stands out to me about this Preds team...their road record. They only have 7 regulation road losses. SEVEN!!! They still have a few tough roadies left, but from a quick check at regular season history, I don't see a single team in the past 10-12 years that had less than 10 regulation road losses in an 82 game season. The Preds have a shot at that.

The larger point is, if this team is that solid on the road, they can probably count on stealing at least 1 game on the road in each playoff series. If they have home ice advantage throughout (which is very possible), and steal one game per series on the road, that opens up a real path to play for the cup again.

A lot of factors are aligning. And I don't think this team has even reached it's peak performance on any consistent basis. If they hit their stride the next couple of weeks, it's going to be a fun ride!

- In the annual NHLPA opinion survey, Nashville Predator fans are voted as the second best fans in the league from the players, Bridgestone Arena is in the Top 5 for player’s favorite rink to play in.

I read the survey. This is off topic. Why does Carey Price get so much love? He was voted as the 4th best goalie of all time...OF ALL TIME and the hardest goalie to score on.
Pekka Rinne and Carey price have played almost the exact amount of games (+8 for Pekka)
Pekka has 23 more wins
Pekka's save % is better, GAA is exact same.
Pekka has played 10 more playoff games, 11 more wins and has better S% and GAA.

Rinne has been consistently solid for longer, but has never really carried his team like Price has. I'm not defending it, just giving a probable explanation why many might rank Price higher.

I wonder how many of those players who voted Bridgestone in the top 5 arenas to play in were goaltenders. I imagine that not many were, but maybe there are some who actually enjoy being heckled. They are an odd bunch.
