Did the Rangers announce yet what GRADE of an ankle sprain that Deangelo had suffered during Monday night's win, Jan? A mid to severe grade ankle sprain can have longer effects on a player, even after healing, due to susceptibility to injuring it more easily at a future point. It can also be worse than suffering a broken ankle, due to causing possible permanent ligament damage, which can cause further foot issues, especially if not off your feet enough to allow it to be healed properly 100% and then some.

As someone who went feet first into the boards and tore every ligament in my ankle and had experimental surgery to fix it, i can say i've never been the same.. but that may be the old age, added weight and tons of beer i drink!
