Last thing any of us on here want to do is engage more with that 20-yr-old head case Wrong-way Rexy on Twitter ( Tony) after he was recently voted off the island on our your Jets HockeyBuzz thread. I think I speak for almost all others on here when I say good riddance to him.

BTW... I mentioned Plekanec in the last thread as a possibility but I believe right now that Chevy is making a full court press for Nash. You also have to believe that after the Vegas stunt that Chevy is more driven than ever to get a deal like Nash done and shove it right back in McPhee's face.

If the two are the same player (Brassard and Pleks) maybe Chevy did something even more interesting.

He got a whiff that Vegas didn’t want them to get Brassard so got them to engage and then keep him out of the West. Reverse reverse psychology! Vegas has Reaves LOL

I thought about that. I also considered the possibility that it was Chevy that tried to block the original deal by complaining to the NHL. I'm sure there are some pretty Machiavellian thinking going on by some GM's.

Just get the best winger we can and shift roslo/Perrault/Wheeler to Center. Got over a month to find the right chemistry.

Nic Petan and Marco Dano to the Rangers for Rick Nash and a time machine set to 2011 would be a good trade. Otherwise, let Nash take his post-season disappearing act somewhere else please.

As much I disagreed with Rexypoo, I like the little guy. I give him much courage to express his opinion in a sea where it was unpopular. I am looking forward to his return on hockeybuzz.

I don't want Nash, Plekanec or any other player like that. I would much rather we stick with the lineup we have than Trade for overrated players.

Only player that would interest me this trade deadline, might be Max Domi. It does appear that lots of chatter involving his name is taking place.

I think the league just showed that collusion is live and well.

...and now Rexy aka Tony( on twitter) aka Norm.Peterson is back with a new ID. Your fooling no one. Pretty pathetic. Your Norm.Peterson act is going to get the same ridicule on this board.

Looks like your Twitter comments are very similar. Bash Myers ,Hendricks, and Maurice and praise Petan and Dano. So juvenile.

Hoping the Jets stay the course as I don't think anyone added will make much of a difference.

You don't have to worry about the Blues! Doug Armstrong has "F'd" the Blues so badly that this team will not make the playoffs this year or even next!! When you have $25M invested in payroll over the next three years in Boumeester, Berglund, Steen, Allen, and Schwartz (who is hurt every year for a minimum of 6 weeks to 3 months), you have MAJOR PROBLEMS. ARMSTRONG won ONE YES ONE CUP IN 1999 and has not done JACK SH*T SINCE, and he gets rewarded with a new 4 year contract with the SENIOR VP AND GM TITLE. I have been really hoping that Chicago fires Stan Bowman or Joel Quinville so they can come home!! Bowman was born in St. Louis and is named after a the late Stan Musial of the Cardinals. Blues will be sold again (as usual) when Enterprise Rent-A-Car pulls out (even though they are based in St. Louis), Blues will either be moved to Seattle or Quebec now that Carolina is sold and the Islanders are building a new building in New York.

The decision makers on the Jets will do their best for the team, both in the short and long term.It will be interesting to see who all will fall in our lap. I can't wait. This team is tight and hopefully anyone obtained will assimilate rapidly....

Liked the young guns game alot better last nite then the LA game. Laine was back checking, winnining some puck battles, Ehlers was back checking, these small incremental improvements were noticeable. It is a fine line of puck battle, defensive responsibililty that affect the game. Helle keeping them in there early to get the confidence going, positve result.

Sneaky Vegas, new organization but that management team knows how to play the game. Just you wait, hopefully their first round is against SJ or Anaheim and let a long hard hitting series take a bit of wind out of their sail. That Paciifc first and second round will be no picnic, let them hammer the hell of eachother, softened them up! We will see how deep Vegas is after a couple of wear and tear attrition series!

Bro I think you are getting a tad paranoid. Norm and Rexypoo have been posting on this site for years. They are not the same person.

Jets looking a lot better than they usually do in the second. Hailey's comet joke about Enstrom's goal very funny. Last goal was November 2016.

Kane a healthy scratch. So was Plekanec. I wonder who wants Kane....lol.

Hearing Tomas Plekanec to Jets is done and to be announced maybe tonight.

I give Chevy and A for effort and C- for results of this is it....but to be fair the no trade city lists kills Winnipeg.

Way to go Hutchy! Good to get a different goalie in there and get a win. Helle gets a break, nothing wrong with watching a game from the bench.

How about that Ehlers, Copp, Laine line, why break them up? Ehlers and Laine are playing more responsible hockey in addition to scoring.

I see Reaves is off to Vegas, they are bulking up for the playoffs against the Pacific teams. Those are going to be hard hitting series, hope they pound the hell out of eachother.

Dallas was pounding Scheifs tonite at every opportunity, maybe we need a hard hitting winger for the stretch? Edmonton apparently likes Petan, maybe there is a chance for Maroon?

Thats good to hear, maybe Chevy can acquire his rights, so he can keep on adding to his Atlanta /Jets stats after the KHL wraps up in April. I guess we get to watch the gold game and see him there. You have to wonder if it is a possibility that somehow Kovalchuck does make it to playoffs this year, but I bet he is playing in the NHL next year for sure. His career isn't finished yet, this guy is a horse with more high level hockey ahead of him imop.

Kovalchuk? Not much of a 2 way player, unless it is for the homeland.

OAR won gold last nite as well. I watched the first period, fell asleep and woke up in overtime with the score tied at 3 and OAR scored shorthanded thereafter to win gold. So my scouting report is a bit deficient. Germany gave them a good run.

We are talking about this player and that player as potential trade targets, so this is just another player to discuss. Most likely will remain as a discussion.

I don’t think you will see Kovie or any Russian player in a Jet uniform in the foreseeable future. Something about Winnipeg and Russian players that just doesn’t click.
