Absolutely. Mrazek may not be a stud but is serviceable at the worst, with potential for much more. We got very little and are now stuck with jimmy and a below avg coreau. Only way this is solid is if flyers goto conf final

And even in that case it's a late 2nd.

I think it was a solid deal for the Flyers.

The thing I don't get is the media talking Coreau up as the goalie of the future. He's 26...the future is now if that's the case...

The more I read and hear about Melnyk, who happens to own my second favorite team in the NHL, the more he sounds like an exact copy of the owner of our beloved Pittsburgh Pirates, once of major league baseball lore, and now a laughing-stock. Bob Nutting doesn't appear to be the LEAST bit interested in fielding a competitive... let alone championship... team, only his bottom line matters. This coming baseball season could go a LONG way towards his ultimate undoing... we can only hope... as it appears even the true baseball fans of the 'burgh are approaching their wits end.
Senators fans, we feel your pain. Different sport, same farking predicament.

Melnyk and Nutting are owners however, so the only thing fans can do beside female dog is NOT go to games. Like I said... tough farking predicament.

GO PENS !!

So Ottawa trades a 33 and a 32 year old for a 36 and 25 year old and their average goes up. Neat math. You never give Ottawa any credit. At least get your facts straight.

The Sen's issues begin at the very top, with one Eugene Melnyk, not here on this blog site. Ottawa needs new ownership, period.

To be fair I guess..nobody wanted mrazek. That's why Vegas didn't take him a flip him to another team. So anything is better than nothing. But not much better lol

The Oilers just need to build a new stadium every year, and they'll be fine.

The oil need to trade lucic. .try Arizona. .add a second ?..maybe something else?..for? ..and hopefully Chia can make like a bandit at the trade deadline . .with maroon and lestetu ..same goes for dory he needs to be active. .and trade Karlsson to Tampa ..before he gets Franked on his next contract. .It'll give Tampa a 2 year window. .and beyond? for the cup..and the sens a couple of picks and prospects ..and Philly did great. .IMHO ..nice read frenchy

Firing Chia would be a good place to start in Edmonton...

One thing that I have to address here is that Elliott has been mediocre. That's not the case. He actually has been quite good and has kept the Flyers in a lot of games and made a large number of timely saves. He has an occasional mediocre game but he has played a lot of games and overall has played well for the Flyers.
