If the Rangers get a second 1st round pick this, year I'd be for it. He's a d-man and he's right handed.
Plus the WHL is widely reviewed as most pro ready CHL league. - tomburton99
There's a good amount of talent that if we can get 1 or 2 more 1st's in ucoming draft we can really put a dent in the rebuild, I like Wahlstrom(lottery pick) Lundstrom, Bokk, Thomas, Kaut
There's no reason to wait for the next 2 games, they should have made the decision already - KreiderBomb
They may have already but it takes a partner to make a trade. No one really starts the ball rolling this early. I've defended Gorton to this point but if he doesn't see this is a flawed team that needs to be remade then I'm done with him. If he sees the writing on the wall then I'll feel comforted having the right guy in charge.

Trade up and grab Takchuk. Will likely go in the top 5 and I’ve seen him as high as 2 but would love one of those a-holes on the team.

Possibility to trade up is there if we have the picks, also Mac doesn't have to go at the deadline but I think the return will be greater if he is rather than heading into a walk year

I would maximize the return and trade him this year before the deadline.
Not good news for those of us hoping the Rangers sell at the deadline... Dolan is going to be needing extra cash to keep the ex happy. Rangers are buyers!!!

Fact is, ALL teams this year are having more difficulty clearing the front of the crease because of the "new" enforcement on the slashing to the hands rule. That is partly why scoring is up throughout the league this season.
However, if AV really believes what he stated in that quote, then he is delusional and has to be replaced!

The first part is true, but to me the recent PK struggles are directly attributable to that issue.

Exactly, lets trade away some picks and whats left in our barren cupboards for some more marginal players to help us squeek into the playoffs, just to get blown out in the first round. Makes perfect sense....

I think it would be wise to consider best offers, that's just my opinion though, i really dont know what to expect the organization will do on that front
