Even though it's accepted language, it's always struck me as odd to say "middle of a losing streak." How do you know when you're in the middle of a losing streak? The middle of this 6-game losing streak was 3 games ago, but you couldn't have known that at the time. If right now is the middle of the losing streak, then that means that they'll also lose the next 6 games (which, granted, seems entirely possible). It's something to think about as we await the game. |

Here's something else to think about. Vegas is, as of right now, #1 in points in the entire NHL. The Knights are where they are largely because of head coach Gerard Gallant, who employs an up-tempo, offensive system. Blake was hired as General Manager on April 10th. He wanted an up-tempo, offensive system, but reportedly didn't show interest in any but the in-house option. Gallant then signed with Vegas on April 13th. LA might've had the coach of the current #1 and 3rd-highest-scoring team in the NHL. |

It is funny. The phrase is 'they're in the midst of a losing streak'. Meaning it is occurring in the present.
Please win tonight |

I wanted Gallant so bad. Cant believe Florida still canned him. Well they hired and offensive coordinator. Perhaps they should hire a coach to just teach players how to pass the puck. Team is so bad at passing. |

Gallant was my first choice as well; felt a true new voice would've made the most sense. |

I wish the guy well. From all accounts, he's the classiest hockey player you'll ever meet. I'm just happy he's not in the Kings organization anymore. |

Assuming you're a Kings fan, I find it funny that you listened to Bob Miller say, "He centered it up the middle," all those years. And you probably didn't even complain about it. I could add another BM redundancy: "The game is tied at two to two." That said, I love Bob Miller. |

I find it funny that you're directing your accusation of not complaining about Miller to the solitary person who dared to complain last week about him getting a statue. FYI, it would always bug me whenever Miller would say "#1 pick" when referring to a team's 1st round pick. I understand why he would use it the way that he did, but people say "#1 pick" in hockey to refer to the 1st overall pick, so I would always be confused for a moment. That said, I love him, too. |
