Doughty for, uh, Gardiner, Leivo and a lottery-protected, conditional 4th.

Do you watch the games Adam? Anaheim dominated in the first period! 2nd and 3rd periods were pretty even in my view.

It was nice to beat the Kings when Quick was playing well. Usually, if Quick is playing well, that's an L for the Ducks.

Still missing Carter.

With Carter, team is definitely harder to play against especially when they decide to suck.

LaDue isnt going anytime soon. They still havent seen what they got in him. Clague is whats maybe makes Muzzin or Martinez trade bait. Depending on how they feel about it. They were comparing him with his d partner Mete from the Canadians who made the NHL full time. If they feel hes on par with Mete he would be NHL ready next season.

CONTINUING FROM LAST BLOG.
Yeah to be honest I don’t want to trade him. I’m surprised he hasn’t been in the lineup yet. I liked what I saw in the time he played last year. I figured if he were to be traded it would be for a young talented forward hence galchenyuk who I know would fetch a lot. But since hearing about his bad work ethic maybe he’s not the player. Landeskog would be nice too but now since COL decided to do well it most likely won’t happen.

I dont really believe that Galchenyuk has bad work ethic. I think Montreal as a whole isn't doing good. Not to mention the coaching staff keeps moving him around. There are a ton of targets for LA. I think they need a skilled forward with good foot speed. Iafallo opens up the ice with his speed. He just doenst have any finish. Which is why I wanna see him in Ontario. See if he can finish at that lvl. Hes got the talent to dominate down there. I think Evander Kane would be a good target honestly.

I like Kane as well. Kids grow up. He’s got a ton of skill. Would look great with Kopitar

I'd take Kane, but I wouldn't give up anything of value to get him as a rental. Certainly not the 4 pieces (including a 1st round pick) that Buffalo is currently asking for.

If they'd take Brodzinski/Amadio, LaDue/Gravel, and a 2nd round pick, then sure, I'd make that trade. If they want a current roster player, a 1st round pick, or Vilardi or Clague, then no way in hell.

Biggest issue with giving good assets is weather or not you can afford to retain him. LA needs to figure out how to get rid of Gaborik. Maybe overpaying for a player like Kane is the answer if it means we can get rid of Gaborik.

Hell no not Valardi or Clague. I can deal with the others ONLY if he resigns. 3rd if he doesn’t resign and 2nd if he does. Been burned too many times with over payment for rentals.

Yea, but the problem is that Buffalo isn't going to go for that. They want a 1st round pick, a good prospect, a roster player, and ANOTHER conditional pick if he re-signs. They likely won't get all of that, but some overzealous GM will overspend and offer something close. They'll certainly offer more than two overage prospects and a conditional pick.

I was just on Yahoo and saw the headline "Best and Worst of the Week: Barzal, Kings and sweet setups." I overlooked the word "worst" and clicked on the link to see what the Kings could've possibly done that would be considered the best of the week. They ended up being worst of the week in not one category, not even two categories, but three categories: Softest Goal, Most Reckless Play and Whipping Boy. Who says that the East Coast media doesn't stay up to watch the Kings or give them recognition?
