Nice to see Reilly Smith is having a bounce back season. Last year was bad enough, combined with the 5yr/$25 mil extension (this is the first year of the contract, which has a NTC effective starting next year), that apparently nobody was willing to take a chance on the up & down Smith at that price. FL could only get a 4th rd pick for him, and I think they had to make Marchy available to get Vegas to take Smith.

Smith has been totally engaged, 100% for the dozen plus games I’ve seen. Good for him and good for VGK. Great story, history. He is certainly a far better player than I was expecting.
