Edmonton has absolutely zero need for another second pairing LD. Absolutely zero. I don't know where this supposed need for a defender came from, but whoever sourced it is beyond out to lunch. All of Klefbom, Nurse, Larsson and Sekera are better than Johnson and we've already got one 4mil bottom pairing guy- don't need more. Unless we're talking Corsi-drain for Corsi-drain (Johnson for Russell)... |

Johnson's been an overrated player his entire career. That doesn't mean that I don't like him...he can definitely play the game...but, he's more of a bottom pairing guy who can jump into the top 4 for a while at this point in his career. |
