Perhaps "Five Things to Not Watch" would've been more appropriate.

Stevens believes in always looking at the bright side: his cup of coffee stays hot.

he is such a robot, I mean it's cool that they have an even keel and all, but at some point I want to hear about water bottles being thrown and sticks hurled, some kind of visceral passion, just once in a long while, I don't want drama at every turn, but a little would be reassuring.

Hey look at that, we made another Jabroni goalie look like a (frank)ing all star.

I think I am ready to part ways with Martinez and possibly even Pearson, bet we could fill some holes by trading those 2 human Quaalude's

Pathetic. No sense of urgency from the players. No emotion. Something needs to be done.

Don't look now, but they're out of a playoff spot... passed by Colorado, of all teams. That's quite the fall from leading the division about a month and a half ago.

Brown looks dejected and uninspired again, I hate the way he big times Kempe and refuses to pass to him or give him crap passes when he does. just my twisted opinion but I am knowingly delusional

Gaborik is pissing me off again too

Even though Carter might act as a midseason acquisition, it might not be enough. I cant remember Quick looking so bad for this many games in a row... well maybe in '13, but regardless. Forbert is a steaming pile with the puck in his own zone. I've never seen a hotter potato getting thrown around out there. Toffoli looks like a 14 year old playing amongst men out there, getting handled on every shift. I didn't mind Brown's major, but I do wish it would've broke out into a line brawl for all those pussies that were on the ice. That might have shaken them up a little. a punch in the mouth seems to be the only motivational tool still in the shed.

I don't see the next W anytime soon.

The hit was unnecessary but why would the Pen fall to his knees and let himself slide towards the puck to make the play rather than try to get back to his feet? That didn't make any sense to me... even if he tripped (which it seemed to me that he went down to his knees of his own volition) isn't your first reaction to get back on your skates? stupid on both players. meh, give him 2 and move on to the next loss.

Yea, I pretty much said exactly this on the LAKI blog. Brown shouldn't have followed through on his hit and deserves a couple games. However, Schultz made a really dumb decision to put himself in that position in the first place.

Onus is not on the player being hit anymore. It falls on the hitter now. Didn't Schultz stumble down? Either way Brown should have not fallowed through. Now my concern is going to be how is this going to effect Brown later. After he got suspended for the hit on Pommenville, Brown appeared to be far less physical.

I agree about the onus being on the hitter, which is why I agree that he should be suspended. However, Schultz didn't stumble, he intentionally went down to ensure that he beat Brown to the puck, and then turned to face the boards. It was a terrible decision, especially when the league hits leader over the last decade is the one covering you.

Brown fined $10k, no suspension. Malkin also fined $5k for spearing.

Interesting. I for sure would have thought he got a couple of games. Well hopefully the team will find some fight in them soon. Because they are trending downwards and its scary. Someone needs to light a fire under there asses.
