Nice to finally see some life. They need a really strong west coast trip to earn my confidence back.

Good blog Jan.

Good to see Nash get rewarded for all his hard work. Guy is a class act.

Nice to see a decisive team win for a change instead of the usual OT or SO.
Still not getting my hopes up until I see what happens out west.

Thanks Jan, I could hear the relief in what you wrote.

My personal opinion is that Nash hasn't lost it, other than his ability to finish. For whatever reason he's completely lost that. He has been a binge scorer in the past when he gets going, so hopefully he starts finding the net a lot more. They really need offense from him right now if they are going to stay competitive.

Hoping they call Pionk up, I think Lettieri and his energy have helped and I liked the line with him Zucc and Miller

Also was a fan of Holland, one game but his hands look better than Boo's

It's so frustrating with him. An elite skill package in the right frame and he just underwhelms on the score sheet on a consistent basis the last 2+ years. I still appreciate him but it has been hard to do so lately.

Yeah I agree Pete, but the finishing thing is kind of a big deal. I've always defended him, but Nash and the quality chances he has had this year, he should easily be in the mid 20s with goals. Work ethic, defense, driving to the net, scoring chances are all there.

Pretty impressive. My dog hits ice and he looks like one of those stones in curling.

I shot a goose that fell about 20ft out of the air and landed on 4" thick ice Saturday morning.

This has absolutely nothing to do with your story, but the noise it made was simultaneously hilarious/loud/kinda gross/depressing.

I am sure that getting shot made the 20ft fall more acceptable for the goose.

The river on my road started to freeze last week which I never seen and watching the ducks trying to land was hilarious. It was like a bar letting out at 2:00 in the morning

He is now 2nd on the team in scoring and has been 3rd for a while, yet somehow he is the one that gets benched or given fewer minutes at times. Can't win if you don't play your most productive players.
