No. Not until one or both of them turn the power play around, that is a key component of a top defensive pairing and a huge weakness for the Jackets so far this year. Both are amazing and they have meshed well together but the lack of success with the man advantage is so eye popping that it keeps them from being considered an elite pairing. |

Apologies, just reread the title of the thread, the best pairings are all out West unless you count Hedman and whoever he is paired with or most seasons Karlsson and whoever (never thought he would miss Methot like he has). Carolina has a ton of young uber talented kids, Philly has Provorov and Ghost but other than the power play they usually don't play together so yeah, East only probably. |
