Thanks Todd...
Great result and 2nd in the Pacific. This break couldn't have come at a worse time though...
Agree with Gio's hit though he made contact with the head (helmet popped) and thats exactly what the league is trying to get rid of. Read a comment (by some Oilers fan) on another site that Gio was targeting the head AND lead with his knee and because he's a "repeat offender", he'll get five games. Um no but I do think he gets a least a game.

At least the streak will keep them focused for Saturday. They will want to keep the streak alive (hopefully) haha

Yeah he'll probably get a game, though not sure he REALLY deserves it.

Aho (along with most of the team) has the flu, so it's probably difficult to diagnose a concussion right now with the overlap in symptoms.

Hoping they can keep the streak up against Winnipeg. But a little ass kicking can also remind them they still got work to do.

We normally play a pretty decent game against the Jets correct?

The Flames came out and outworked the Canes every step of the way. The shot total shouldnt bother y’all because there wasn’t a real threat. Smith was able to see most of them with little issue.

As far as the hit, he by far deserves more punishment. Not only did he induce a knee to knee hit, he went high and launched himself. Both of those hits are season ending injury potential hits. Should be in the 3-5 game range. Since the Flames are in serious playoff contention and he is the captain, im sure the league wont have the intestinal fortitude to do anything.
