I honestly don't know much about him but didn't he go like #3 overall a few years back? I understand not all top picks pan out but I didn't realize he was considered bottom pair.

0 goals, 2 assists.

UFA after this year.

You know I love Ek, but I may possibly doubt this roomer. I don't really see the Leafs making this deal, unless we are gaining an advantage by sending something worse back the other way.

Thank (frank) for that. I was worried the Leafs would trade for Gudbransson.

We def overpaid for him, he has not been great but is a good 4-6 guy. I wish we got to see him in the playoffs :s - we probably wont get what we paid (basically a 1st and 2nd), but he will bring a decent return IMO.

As far as the oilers defence, with nurses development and a healthy sekera finally, the group on the back end isn’t bad. Like really at all.

Klefboms inconsistency after such a a great year in 2016/17 has certainly hurt tho and has hindered what could be a pretty good group actually.

It’s an average group. Certainly not our biggest issue going forward if they stay healthy.

I defended against his comment and gave my reasons for doing so without bothering to attack or even mention the canucks.
