Dylan Stroke to Portland huh? This conforms my suspicion that what Tanner knows about hockey he learned from a copy of NHL 15 he's still playing. The affiliate is in Tucson now, just down I-10 a little ways. Maybe the yotes want strome to experience some winning this year, or tank extra good. Who knows?
Does anyone else feel like the blogs on this site have gotten lazy recently? |

I wish I could tell you about the suspicions I have about people who complain about extremely minor, really-easy-to-understand errors , but unfortunately, I have retired from the comments section. |

I just expect more. I'm assuming you're earning money to "follow" this team for this site? Otherwise why bother.. It's blatently obvious you don't give even a half a howl about them. I realize there isn't millions of Coyotes fans but you're writing an update on a trade that happened 2 days ago.. You seem to have retired from the writing about the yotes section too. |

I usually like your blogs, but this one was late, and basically confirmed that you are writing for a team you dont support. Too bad you cannot write for the leafs so you could write with blind faith! |

"Quitting on the comments section"?
I hope it wasn't that I (finally) showed you that zone starts do matter!, That caused you to question everything you didn't know about hockey.!!!! |

He scored his first two career goals against the Coyotes last season in the same game, and one was a shorty. |

You missed the entire point. There is no need for me to regurgitate news. If the team does something that warrants real analysis, I'll do my best to provide it.
I continue to find it insane that sports, and the peripheral things surrounding them (like blogs) exist for no other reason than entertainment, and yet any deviation from the most basic norms is treated like heresy.
You might think I'm phoning it in here, but what I'm really doing is having some fun. I guaranteed you if I played it straight and wrote the typical five paragraph news blog (intro, explain, expand, analyze, sum-up) you wouldn't even say anything.
If you need it straight, there's at least eleven other options to find out the true story of Archie Douglas or whatever that guy they traded for is called again.
It seemed extremely funny to me to write "news" from two days ago. Sorry you didn't feel the same way. |

Tanner logic: I'm right, you're wrong. If you disagree, you must be a wet blanket simpleton incapable of understanding or appreciating my zany humor and/or superior intellect.
The (only) man who beat the yotes drum, insisting this team was about to burst into an unstoppable NHL powerhouse has been proven deeply wrong. His opinion really doesn't matter |

I'll agree that blogs exist for entertainment, and in some cases consolidation of news. This one seriously felt like you phoned it in; late to the fact and minimal in effort, like you either have too much on your plate or it's a paper you turned in only to avoid a zero. I don't want to continue bickering back and forth, I'd just like to see a little more as a fan. There are a few of us around regardless of how it's sometimes portrayed.
Anyway, the short version of why Strome is back down in the AHL is he's invisible and a non factor in his play. Whatever he did on a roadrunners jersey he's not doing in a coyotes jersey. He's timid on the puck when he has it, which isn't often. Being around all that losing probably doesn't help any confidence he must have either. |

Looks like the "hire a kid with no experience other than playing moneyball with hockey" experiment, is a miserably failed one. How many more seasons do you think Chayka gets? - leonkennedy
The day after they miss the playoffs with the worst record in the post cap era. |

A person who blogs about an NHL hockey team and doesn't know who the farm team is that the blogger's heralded prospect(and point of the blog) is playing for; who then questions the criticism received regarding such stupidity should retire from blogging and concentrate on the principles of critical thinking. Readers of said blogs can use basic critical thinking skills to deduce that the blogger's pattern of non-credibility combined with his "retirement" from commenting equates to an Aquaman doll caught up in a sewage grate. |

Bah, you're just bitter because he's from the 'luckiest team in the NHL's organization.
The Yotes are now corrupted.

However, when Archibald scores his 30th goal by season's end...we'll all feel silly... |

lay off with the Tanner hate, it's flippin Christmas for cryin out loud!! |

He was called up around Thanksgiving and had one point in over a month. Save your outrage; Dylan is a bust just like his older brother Ryan. Dylan doesn't have the speed to be a top center in the NHL, so he's going to have to rely on puck protection, positioning, and strength, and he's displayed none of that at the NHL level. I understand that, yet again, the Yotes aren't playing for anything, so it behooves them to stick with the kids and see if they develop, but sometimes you need to face facts about prospects: the vast majority of them do not reach their potential. He's still only 20, but I think you can add Dylan Strome to the list. |

If they wanted to tank more, they should keep playing Strome. He's been atrocious in the NHL. |

I mean, 'committed to winning'? Unlike most professional athletes who could just take or leave it.
-Tanner
Now, Come On - This epitomizes the last 5 years and probably more of Shane Doans career
He was clearly a guy who didn't give a sh1t about winning and just looked to extort another (over)pay day from the Coyotes |
