First. And yes Sid does need to be better. Much better. I think at this point it is a confidence thing. He is not shooting the puck.

I agree with putting Sid and Geno together at the end of a period or before a tv timeout. I'm not sure why Sullivan never does that ?

He'll rebound. stars have tough even strength years for whatever reason (re: giroux and voracek last year). The goaltending seems like more of a concern because murray and fluery carried yall at times through the post season. Is murray still feeling some of the effects from his injuries?

I just don't think the Pens are a good defensive team, and right now they aren't good at pushing the pace offensively. Everyone's 5v5 points are down and they're falling behind games early. 3rd and 4th lines are just as much of a problem as the top 2 lines scoring. It's pretty much throughout the roster.

Couldn't agree more. We'll explode for 5 goals for a game or two and all of a sudden people think that our roster makeup offensively is fine. It's not. Rutherford will spend some futures and shake up our lineup. Seems more realistic than optimistic

Literally one or two tweaks could get this roster flying offensively again. When you have players like Sid, Jake, Geno, Phil, Tanger it won't take that much. But, they do need those tweaks sooner than later.

Yes Gunner, Sid hid a lot of similar team issues last year with his phenomenal season. This year, Not so much.
