This is not good news, and is something that will keep Dubinsky out a while. We won’t know the full extent until the team makes an official announcement. The team has recalled Jordan Schroeder from Cleveland in the meantime.

#CBJ confirm Dubinsky orbital bone fracture with release. He’s on IR. Expected to miss 6-8 weeks, club says.

Seems like the announcement was already made

Bad idea in general to pick fights in losing efforts in an attempt to save face. Never understood why that has ever been a thing in the nhl.

Darn, I was hoping to see how much !@#$%^&* Dubinsky might try to pull against the Pens next time, and how long before Ryan Reaves finally has to put him in his place.

I don't ever like to see a guy's face get broken... not even Dubinsky... but he IS a true d-bag.

GO PENS !!

Man, it looked like the first punch is what did it from his reaction. It didn't look like much, but goes to show how big and strong these guys are.

Tonights game is important. We'll see how the CBJ respond. Going to miss Dubi in the face off circle. I feel like this team needs a shot in the arm. Might be time for a trade of some type. That Oilers game was a trap game for CBJ. Western Conference opponent with no emotional engagement by the CBJ. And they played that way. Would love to see how much $$ was on the board from Letestu and JPJJ? I'm relatively confident they were emotionally invested. Put it behind them and get back on the train tonight.

Paul's article is mislabeled. It should say 'Post surrender' report.

I really, really hate to say this but IMO the downhill spiral has begun, we will end up in the lottery again. It might be a good thing in a way, because maybe if we take a step back this year we will take two steps forward in 2018-19.

The people who need to score on this team are not scorning, they just do not have the ability to do it when teams are gunning for them every night instead of assuming they are a bottom-dwelling team like they used to be. We have only three people who can generate offense, Jones, Breadman, and Werenski. Our second d-pair has reverted back to the old days of ugliness instead of their great work of last year. None of the other D has stepped up or been healthy enough to move up.

The goalies are both playing well, but they can't lead the rush or put a rebound in the opponent's goal, and you can't win every game in OT or a shootout.

At least we are not Cleveland Brown's bad, but we are not good either.
