With elite defender's and as deep of a center group as any in the league to go with elite level (ahl) goaltending the oilers are going to rush up the standings, trade their 1st for gudbranson, their top prospect jp for Sven and Hutton (why you ask? Because chia).
They will miss the playoffs by one point but their pick will win the lottery.

Dude, there’s such a massive difference in the brutality of hangovers from your 20s to your 30. I ain’t even 31 yet and man, I can hardly function today. I used to be able to shake off days of drinking on end with no issue.

Hope you’re right. I never expect the Leafs to win(due to years of disappointment) and when they do it’s such a great surprise.

I get we lost the Eberle trade, but this statement has a lot of false attached to it...... Our 5v5 scoring is on pace with last years, the major areas that are down is PP and PK, which Eberle did not factor into other than a few on the 2nd PP. So outside of his 'skill' which if you take his defensive miscues equals out, I am not sure Eberle makes us a playoff team right now, more than a consistent effort

If we finish higher then the oilers with horvat out 6 weeks plus the other injuries we have.... well, let's just say the oilers should fold add an NHL franchise and join the AHL.

We seriously going to use the old and tired injury excuse? How about the fact Sekera hasnt played one game for us this year? Or losing Drai for some time.....Lord Larsson and Talbot have been on the shelf for the past few games....but I get it....its easier to conjure up excuses as to why your team sucks as opposed to just accepting it
