100% he got into poop for that, but ref and league related situations get handled behind the scenes.

Between Babcock, Shanahan and Don Lamoriello, you think no "heads up" was given to the league in regards to those plays? (I'd argue most of the game in general)

Refs need to get better, not punished. Only time that would happen I'd guess is if there's a pattern of negative behaviour contrary to the league's rule book.

He probably should get a small fine. Just as a deterrent to not throw a fit when he takes a penalty even if it was a bad call. It was totally accidental, but just like with a high stick you still get penalized.
