Meh, GG has got his homework cut out for him.

Time to get this team playing up to their potential. Even in games where we have dominated the scoreboard the defense has looked questionable. Last on the PK is also not acceptable.

I think they pulled some voodoo to trade places with the oil in the standings. Just need to keep sacrificing goalies.

Lack seems like a pretty decent hombre, but we have enough character in that dressing room. I think Gilles & Riitch should have been sharing the backup right from the get go & Parsons holding the fort in Stockton. If Niemi gets picked off waivers twice it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility Lack gets plucked.

I would say Lack will clear waivers and Calgary starts the Rittich experiment. If that happens I would guess he would get at least 5+ starts between here and the end of December which has 18 games with a couple back to backs. This would be a good test to see if he has the potential for more than an AHL goalie.

IDK, said last thread that Harmonic seems to give way to much room to defenders in the neutral zone and Brodie seems the get easily flustered when under pressure in the D zone.

Makes for a pretty crappy mix.

Hamonic will be fine. Brodie better get his head in the game. Just been awful.

Gaudreau is getting screwed. Not even getting an honourable mention for the Hart in any of the quarter of the season polls. They even discussed it during the intermission of a Flames game and no one brought him up.

If they actually went with the description of the award, it's not even close. There's no argument that Gaudreau hasn't been the player most valuable to his team this year.

--Buffalo needs Defense badly. Buffalo is shopping Kane.
--Flames need to recoup a first and/or second in 2018 to get back what they lost in acquiring Hamonic. Brodie has been having a bad year (but is still a top 4 puck moving defenceman). Rasmus Anderson did not look out of place when with the Flames recently - step into Brodie's spot maybe??

BT has been scouting the Sabres a lot.

How about Brodie for Kane and a 1st (lottery protected at Buffalo's insisting). I am not a fan of getting rid of Brodie at all, I'm just trying to guess at what might be do-able if BT is serious about something happening with the Sabres.

If Kane was a RW I could see interest. Has he ever played on his off side?

Have not seen enough of Not-so-fat-Rass to think he could slide in and take Brodie's minutes.

Also Kane is going to want north of 7 mill and is a Douchecanoe so can't see it happening.

In my world of Make belief I like to think that GG has challenged Brodie to hold onto the puck more and try and become more of an elite possession style D. Brodie is just figuring it all out.
