Flames were lucky to get a point out of that game.

....still brutal , columbus is winning game like the habs circa 3 years ago when Price could steal games and they won 1-0 or 2-1 games (not trolling just making a comparison).

Quotes aren't working, but I honestly don't know what game you were watching. CBJ shut down one of the hottest lines in hockey, and ended up winning despite a great job by Smith. I know you can't stand Torts and basically complain about a first place team every single day, but give me a break. That was one of the best games the CBJ have played all year.

Shut them down in points, but that line was scary every time they were on the ice imho. I didn't think we played all that well, again. Too many turnovers. If we keep playing Bob this much he's going to get fatigued/injured and we're going to slide badly.

complain is a big word but just pointing out that playing the way they play , it's unsustainable . And yes it's no secret I hate Torts, even if he won a Jack Adams , the way he acts all cerebral on his players must be messing with their confidence and minds.

Hey guys, its a win, you know, when we earn 2 points for us, and the Western Conference team gets one, so we pick up at least a point on almost everyone in the East.

Right now I think its safe to say Bob and all three D pairs are playing very, very well. The problem is the guys up front who need to score, the veteran players, are not scoring. We are also missing one of our best PK guys. That's why the rumors for a deal with RNH from the Oilers are out there.

IMO at this point its not the HC's fault the guys up front are not scoring. It is the players' fault, unless there is a torture chamber being used by the coaches on off days. Eventually these guys will start scoring and this slump in production will be a bad memory.

We also miss the three veteran players who left last years's team and are being replaced by young players who are starting to play well. It seems to prove the faith of the coaches and front office in those guys is not misplaced, and if they keep improving this will be a dangerous team come April.

W's are W's, and its still November. If its March and we are winning games like this then it is time to worry. But anyone can see that this team is better than any Montreal team of the last three years, even when Price was playing well.

Well put-completely agree. When the team is healthy ,these lines are interesting:

Anderson-Dubois-Panarin
Foligno-Wennberg-Bjorkstrand
Atkinson-Dubinsky-Jenner
Motte-Sedlak-Calvert

Could be a fun group to watch.

I must admit that adding RNH to that lineup makes it a little more interesting, until I think about the purchase price of his contract.
