Bouwmeester is only allowed to stay if Coach Yeo-mama promises to keep him away from Pietrangelo.

He's finally playing like a Norris Trophy Defenseman and we don't need ole Jaybo mucking up his game.

Jaybo the guy that has 2 gold medals is going to muck up his game? 2 major reasons for Petro's performance. Yeo allowing the D to join the rush more and more PP time with Shattenkirk gone. If you need more proof see Petro's stats (with JayBo) after Yeo took over and Shatty was traded.... I'm glad JayBo is back!

Well said. Petro has played with every left hander on the team and still maintained his performance. If he can make Carl Gunnarson look good, I don't know how J bo is going to hurt him.

When Hitch was coaching, Petro and J bo would get buried in the defensive zone and whenever the team had a lead they would play it safe and end up sitting of their heels. That's the biggest reason for Petro's production imo, the extra power play time helps too but most of his points are coming at even strength.

I will maintain that i still like Edmundson with Petro more than anyone else.

What a move on the wall by Jaskin. Wow

I agree, i like having Edmundsons physicality paired with petro. Jbo and petro too similar defensively

Cam Talbot is lucky he got the early hook. He could easily be sitting on a couple more goals against.

J-Bow, did play better after the coaching change last season. Leave Edmundson with Petro as J-bo is probably on his way out after this season. Keep Bouwmeeester healthy for the playoffs along withe the rest of the d group. Dunn has been okay and adds a left handed offense to our defense.(never thought Edmundson would fill that role ha ha)

Bouwmeester at this time needs to be at best a 2nd line pairing. Gunnar is good for what he does but leaves a lot to be desired. Wonder if Army makes a move with a dman and a forward to solidify the offense??? Cant really go into the playoffs with just rookies as backup defensively.

Great game until the oilers scored. Blues countered but then let off a bit even though we did put up 8. Damn that was some great passing.

Tarasenko in a fight? i don't want him to, but it turned out alright and i'm glad someone else is sticking up for this team!!!

I'll be there on Friday in back against the wall in some section we shoot twice at.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Cheers! Let's Go Blues!

That was a good move by Jaskin, but that shot should have been stopped. That is the 1 time out of 100 that, that shot scores. Talbot down for no reason there.

Edmundson with Petro absolutely makes sense. Wonder if Parayko being paired with Bouwmeester will change the way Parayko plays? Good night for the Parayko even if he didn't get any points.

I dind't say the shot was good (it was lucky more than good) but the play along the wall and then the move off the wall was excellent.

If Parayko didn't get given an assist on the Schenn deflection goal then the guy recording the points should have been fired this morning.

It was good work along the wall by Jaskin. Good to see him finally using his size advantage.

Parayko had to get an assist. forget he was the one that took the shot. I rarely look at scoresheets, just hear the main focal point after the game, the blues top line had 12 pts. Where did Schwartz pick up the assist? did he pass it to parayko?

Blues are playing great, but our pp sucks. is it a hesitation to take the shot? looking for that sweat looking play? whatever it is we need to change. with as much talent that is out there, we should be netting 2 pp goals in 4 chances it seems. we lack the ability to gain entry to the zone. once we are set up we just pass it around the perimeter. that makes it easy for the pk team to from a box and keep us on the outside with no front net coverage and no side to side cross zone passes for 1 timers.

we lack horribly at the pp and our pk isn't much better be we are starting to get thereon pk

Jaskin's game has been a ton better the last three or four games.

What scares me a bit is if this team is healthy do players still play hard to keep their spot?

Love this team. Agree with Allen's play. But the good thing is even on his crap nights he is still battling, which is kind of this team's identity.

Talbot was probably down because he was screened.

Hitch's game plan just does not work in the NHL anymore. One of the things Yeo changed right away was having the d engage to protect the house and it was at that point JayBo looked like himself again.
