Well, it sounds like we might see the return of Chaaah-lie Coyle tonight. The Wild are getting closer to their true roster. I know it sounds like, if he plays, that it will be on the 4th line to get his feet wet. And then some PP as well. Hope he is feeling good and gets boosted right away.

Is it just me or does Cullen appear to have zero chemistry with anyone Boudreau skates with him?

Those are the kind of bullpoop soft goals that Dubnyk tends to give up that I absolutely cannot stand.

So much for the proverbial "turning point"... Granted the officiating was terribly uneven last night, the loss still falls on defense and goal tending. Dubnyk just isn't as good without top notch defensive play in front of him.

Olofsson is absolutely god-awful. In 12 games he has a whopping ZERO points and is a -3. Unless of course you count the 2 goals he scored on his own team last night. That might be a bit unfair, but he does not belong in the NHL at this point.

Quincey isn't a whole lot better and it's not like Chuck has an up coming class of high prospect D men waiting in the wings... This team is in big trouble defensively.

On another note, I really don't understand the logic behind Boudreau's decision making... He inserts Coyle back into the line up last night... Supposedly he's placed on the fourth line to try to inject more offense into the lifelessness of the bottom 6 scoring prowess and instead of benching one of the kids, he sends Stewart to the press box.

WTF?! I mean I know Stewart has been cold lately, but he still has 8 points which is 4 more than Kunin and 5 more than Eriksson Ek.
Not to mention he's a much better 2 way player.

I am guessing the benching of Stewie was to protect Ennis. Although I will agree with not really understanding the lines BB threw out there last night. Nothing really gelled. Where is the net front presence on this team? How many times have players tossed the puck out in front of the net, and not a single Wild player can be seen in front.

I do think the Wild could put Olofsson on waivers and get him to Iowa. He just is showing much. Unless they plan to park him in front of the other team's net to have shots bounce in off of him, he really needs to sit. I guess all the talk about the Wild's depth on D was a mirage, and the fact was that they just had the right amount.

As always, I have my dreams that I put in here as well. If the Wild could tell Vegas they made a mistake and offer up something like Dumba, Olofsson and Ennis for Haula, Colin Miller and Nate Schmidt, that would be really nice. It would give the Wild $1.9 million more in cap space and I think Miller would fit in well with Brodin. And then choosing between Reilly, Quincey and Schmidt for 3rd pairing also seems better. Maybe the Wild give Vegas their 3rd rd pick back as well. Then they could run these lines out there....

Kunin - Staal - Nino
Zucker - Koivu - Granlund
Haula - JEE - Coyle
Winnik - Cullen - Foligno - Stewart

Although I guess that lineup is out the window for now as I just read that JEE and Kunin have been sent to the minors, with Zack Mitchell coming up.
