Surprised there are no comments on this, and in some ways I am surprised by the opinions of the writers.

Do all of you really think that the salary cap will will not increase in the coming years? If it gets bigger in the next 5-6 years then this contract is a good buy for the CBJ.

Even if Atkinson's ability to score deteriorate late in the deal as we see this season Columbus is missing its vets they let go, especially Hartnall, who was a big part of the offense last year.

This contract is a win for both sides.
