I've heard the opposite. He's still in Cgy but expected to join the team by Saturday.

Gillies is expected to be up just for today. Don't think Smith traveled with the team for tonight's game.

Smith didn't travel with the team, but is either with them now, or will be at some point today.

Perhaps the start for Eddie tonight will be good as it is a road game and a little less pressure on him than in the dome. He is obviously aware of the chanting from the stands based upon his comments after the game the other night.

Sounds like Detroit may be missing a few key players as DeKeyser is out, Frk is out and Helm may be out as well.

Hah hopefully he didn't take the chanting as ironic. He looked pretty shakey.

You know, Smith played a few seasons as backup to Marty Turco. Having the league's best puck moving goalie working with him seemed to have a major impact on Smith's game long term. Would be nice to see that happen with Gillies, Rittich, or Parsons as backup.

Hah wonder if Vegas would take a flyer on Lack. Maybe this road trip gets his value to where it needs to be. Wishful thinking.

Glad to hear Smith is only listed as day to day and rejoining the team here shortly. Hopefully Eddie won't have a Lack lustre performance tonight, but Siggy has been saying he's come a long ways since he's been in Calgary so tonight we get to find out.
