First ! Nice write up.
I wonder if this is Kempny ' s last year , he is what 26 or 27 his chances of improving much now is pretty low. With him not playing I think he will bolt back to Europe or sign with another team here. Thought he was going to turn out to be a bigger part o for the Hawks. |

I guess the Duchene and Turris trade wasn't significant enough. |

I see that LA basically gave Cammalleri away (7 points in 14 games) for Useless Jokinen (1 assist).
I remember Cammalleri as a skilled player who played with some passion. This team could not use him at $1M? |

Hawks already have a very similar player in Sharp. Don't think they need two. |

NJ blown lead should have been a huge wake up call.
Have a feeling tonight is going to be a beat down on the Hawks...unfortunately. |

I have lost so much confidence in this team that even after we built that early 4-1 lead the other nite, I was still expecting them to blow it. So when NJ scored its 2nd goal, it was "Here we go!". |

Pass. We already have that guy in Sharp. I'd rather play the yoots. |

I still wish they would have went after Yakupov.
I don't like the trend of bringing old Hawks back. I mean, let it go already. I get that it's "low risk, potential reward" situation. But, the dude is 35, had a major hip injury and concussion problems last season.
It just seemed like a PR move to me.
Would have rather taken a chance on a younger Winger in Yakupov and see what he could do.
Just my opinion, though. |

And Tootoo, Roszival, Bouma all playing for about the same $ as skilled 24 year first overall pick Yakapov who is playing well and was available this past summer. |

Haha. Totally.
It seems like Yak may have found his groove a bit in Colorado.
I think he would have been able to do that here, but we'll never know... |

He does and I think it's kind of another guy the Hawks possibly already thought they had (younger player in need of new digs) in Jurco.
I had no issue bringing back Sharp and like getting Saad back though I know what you mean about bringing back the band.

I honestly don't understand why Jurco isn't getting playing time.
Nothing against Kero, but I'd slot Jurco in for a few games and see what he could do on a lower line or something. He hangs around the blue paint and has the nifty hands to operate in close.
Personally, I just don't get it. |

For his short time here the puck was a hand grenade on his stick hence a trip to the Rock. |

I get that, but he started to turn it around his last few games he was in--did some nice work around the crease.

From my eye test I just don't think he will ever be more than a 14th forward at best. Not worth the big clubs time to take TOI away from players who should be on the club. |

I like those lines, let’s see if they can work, I just want to know what the beef with Lance Bouma is? It seems like every time the Blackhawks get a player whether it be car bomb, or those of similar style Lance Bouma included, some of these guys start railing him. I think he is doing exactly what he is supposed to do, where is provide energy, and God for bid in the little pansy ass world of The NHL these days, God for bid anybody should drop the gloves! The NHL still needs players to keep others in check when they decide to play out of their shoes, this is NHL hockey. Here’s hoping for a victory tonight, but tall order because the Rangers are hot. Any word on any trade speculation with the Rangers? I actually wouldn’t mind seeing Hayes, or Kreider Wind up here. Probably the next move is they are going to recall Thomas Jurco anyway. Speaking of trades and the Blackhawks are looking for a top 4 defenseman, there is one in Arizona that is soon going to wind up in Montreal! Does the name Nicolas Hjalmarsson Ring a bell. |
