Cammalleri was worst on the team in Corsi, so he had to go, apparently, never mind that he had 7 points and the Kings scored more even strength goals while he was on the ice than they allowed. Meanwhile, Jokinen had the 9th-best Corsi on the Oilers, despite the fact that he had only 1 point and the Oilers allowed more goals while he was on the ice than they scored. This is such a Lombardi/Sutter move. Oh, wait... |

I feel like the Oilers benefited here. Cammalleri still has the hands and skill to produce. He will benefit playing with Oilers more than he did with the Kings, even though they were high scoring. Jokinen is not a bad consolation prize. His style fits well. |

Decent deal for the Oilers, Cammalleri seems to put up points everywhere he goes so if they need scoring, he should help. Plus Jokinen isnt doing anything. |

''I don't think he enjoyed the role that he was in, by any means,'' said Kings general manager Rob Blake, who declined to say whether Cammalleri requested a trade. ''I won't tell you a lot about our conversation, but what I will tell you is we came to the conclusion that it wasn't going the direction he wanted it to.''

I am glad Blake pulled the trigger on this, even though Cammalleri was voice his displeasure to help it along, it still gives me hope that the management and coaching staff have an eye on players who are not getting the job done.
Muzzin, Forbort Shore, Amadio and Crescenzi should be under the microscope.
The top 6 are playing their ass's off, Doughty, Fantenberg and Folin seem to be the most reiliable D-men with Martinez kind of waivering between helping and hurting.
set the record aside even though it was a good start, the last 3 games have been blown due to certain players having bad lapses, namely the defense making poor decisions under pressure and unable to get the puck out of the zone. |

Oh, sure, with Cammalleri gone, now you start spelling his name correctly, MikeOxbyg. I see your game. |

Thats exactly where he'll be playing with the Oil me thinks. Should get PP time though. |
