I'd still say the lack of a true point threat is the biggest issue. You can always find someone on the roster willing to stand in front of the net.

It's not like Gagner is making an impact with Canucks. Trading him would open up more ice time for Burmi to prove himself. Plus more importantly JV staying in line up.
