The newest article when I click the Flyers logo on the top is titled "Wrap: Flyers Drop 5-4 SO Verdict to Avs; Phantoms Update" from 4 days ago. Ever since then when a new blog becomes the front page flyers article the previous one is just gone.

Just noticed the "archive" button up by Bill's title at the top of his blogs and I can get back to them this way. Something funky is still going on with the Flyers tab of blogs though.

So yesterday I said I see the Flyers going 4-1-1 in the next 6 games, at least I hope they do. But I have them losing this game in overtime and losing one of the Minnesota games, preferably not the one on Saturday as I will be there. How would you guys feel about 5-3-2 over the next 10 games.

Well, 10-0-0 would be better.

But, if they can keep up a pace where they pick up 12 points for every 10 games, I can live with that. That would put them on track to finish with 94 points which might be enough to get them in this year.

I'd like to not hear about excuses about the Flyers coming out slowly tonight after a 4 day layoff.

I'd like to think they can jump on this team early tonight.

I had the same thoughts myself. They should be fired up and ready to play. We'll see if they come out ready to play.

At this point, with the progression of this team over the past few years, I have far less patience with how this team starts games, in general, than I do with the shortcomings of personnel on the team.

slow starts have been an issue for years over multiple coaches.
