Anxious for a winning streak. I think they can go 4-1-1 in the next 6. Chicago, Min X2, Winnipeg, Calgary, Van.

Yup, Manning has played well. Gotta give the guy his due. Honestly, when AMac is ready to come back, the guy I'd sit, unless he picks up his play, is Gudas. I think he's been somewhere between mediocre and so-so all season. Maybe a healthy scratch or 2 wakes his ass up.

I'd be happy with 4 wins in their next 6.

He has.

He is probably one of the best guys suited for a 7th dman role.

He plays his role. He'll step up for anyone. he just goes about his game even if he sits for a week or two.

I don't know, I'd say he's been average to moderate.

Hope he wakes up or he finds a ticket to another city as his new home.

Bill,
How has Lindblom looked in the A. Is he progressing after all of the hype, then let down of not making the big club?

I suspect Manning will regress a bit, but like Bill said, could still stay in the lineup

Yeah, that's pretty much how it went last year. He started off playing very well but after about a month he regressed to his usual level of play. He's a great 6/7 depth guy to have, but to expect more, for any length of time, is really rolling the dice.

Looks like Lyons had a heck of a game today stopping 39 of 41 shots. Martel with another goal and assist and Lindblom with a goal

This makes me curious too. He seemed to disappear in the preseason and his stats aren't blowing me away. But maybe he is playing a better game.

IIRC, he struggled a lot the first 5 or 6 games. He then moved in with some other players, he's a young kid and it seems he was having some difficulty in adjusting to living by himself in a foreign country, and he's been playing very well since. Bill can confirm this, but I think he's been averaging around a point per game over the last 7 or 8 games and he's only been on the ice for one or two ES goals against all season. I still think he ends up playing with the Flyers before the end of the season.

Still feel concerned about Patrick’s health. So now he’s not practicing at all with the team, when he was just short time ago. Hope this doesn’t linger on him. Could this affect his conditioning as he really hasn’t played much last year, then injured during summer and his surgery.

I dont really think he struggled...he wasnt playing his best hockey, but it was more just him not getting on the score sheet. Right now he is playing much better and getting on the score sheet.

He was also moved around with some different linemates a bit
