I really like the Knights and normally side with an organization when it comes to these types of weird scenarios that play out.

However, I'm not sure on this one...

I know we don't know exactly what happened and we don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but from what I've read (and read between the lines), my gut tells me Ship got dogged by Vegas.

Not sure I can say Gallant is a bad coach. He did a good job in Florida and had that young Panthers team surging before they fired him for an analytics 'yes man.' I think he's done a good job with these guys in Vegas.

But, I totally feel the "he didn't work hard in practice and needs to learn the North American game" comments from the front office was a cover.

C'mon. Dude is a 30-year-old KHL standout, not some 18-year-old jabroni. Guarantee he would have "figured it out" if there was anything to figure out (even though I doubt there was), if they actually let him play.

I don't get going after him hard in the offseason, pumping him as a cornerstone of the franchise, only to not use him.

What does that mean?

Also, great avatar. Have you been watching this season of South Park? Not too bad.

McPhee should have signed Erat, instead.

From what I've seen, Shipachyov was playing too erratically. It was like he was playing pond hockey. I know that is what was ticking Gallant off. Go back to Russia where you belong, Vadim.

Great work

It's a shame things didn't workout for him in the NHL, the more talent in the league, the better it is for fans.

Erat has scored 23 points in 20 games this year...in the Czech league.

Obviously, we're still chasing the full stories from McPhee and Shipachyov's camp. I think both sides were in the wrong, but Vegas will end up looking a little bit worse when all is said in done.
