The purple Teletubbie has to suck it? Or Riley Sheahan?
If my memory serves there were a few saying Boner was a waste of a trade when he first got here (or was that the Nucks guys?). So time will tell.
Are those police 4x4's suped up V8's? |

I don't think anyone was complaining about trading Sutter for Bonino. How many Sutter fans were there really. |

Maybe it was the expectations that weren't great as I know a few had (frank) off Sutter parties that went for days. |

A lot of Canucks fans were down on Bonino claiming that he was slow and a very vanilla player. As a whole they thought that they won the trade and we're glad to be rid of Bonino. |

Yeah but Vancouver had just traded Kessler and the guy they got back was Bonino and when he didn't do Kessler things the nucks fans rabbled. |

Also, don't think that we should base any assessment of the player on this year at all. He was getting less than 10 minutes a night without regular shifts. Tough to get a guage on a guy who most likely will be playing 13-15 minutes a night on a much better team. |

Yep....but, that's definitely who was talking down on the Bonino trade. Most Pittsburgh fans liked it. |

You can thankfully have Sheahan Pittsburgh fans. If you want any more garbage, just sing out......Detroit’s got plenty more garbage where he ( Sheahan ) came from.....the bum.
Good Riddance. |

"A Detroit fifth round pick and a Pittsburgh 3rd round pick are in reality only a round apart because of where the teams are projected to finish."
Well, for that to happen the Pens need a better back-up and need to play better overall. |

Good to at least add depth and maybe he'll turn out alright for us. Remember when we traded for the "worst defenseman in the league" lol |

We do need to address but we are still solid in the standings no? We lost in regulation to Tampa twice who looks really good and Chicago, and our opener to the blues in overtime. The teams that have beaten us are really good teams. But yes we have some work to do. |

So Wilson had a pretty nothing first game for the Wings but DP had an assist and 4 shots on net for the Nucks. |

I liked it. The Nucks gave up on Bonino too fast because they were expecting the next Kessler |

NHL.com are reporting the Pens get the 3rd round pick
I'm confused here.
So which is it? The Pens get Sheahan & a 3rd rounder,
Or,
Sheahan & a 5th rounder? |

If memory serves Hardnosed was the only guy on this board defending Sutter. By and large we all hated him. I didn’t think Bonino was spectacular (surprised by how much I grew to love him) but for his cap hit at 1.8 it was a fantastic value swap and Clendening didn’t hurt either. That was a great trade |

They weren’t wrong that he was slow and somewhat vanilla. Dead wrong that they won the trade. Sutter is a very bad hockey player and Bonino is a lot better even if he’s unspectacular. And the Nucks gave us Bonino + for Sutter. What dumbasses... |
