About time Brown got back in. Looking forward to seeing him try and force his way into the lineup.

What happens with Brown once Colin White returns? I'm thinking Brown gets sent back after 9.

Considering he is playing fourth line minutes I would have to think so as well

Not only that, but he's barely playing when they're frequently not even dressing 12 forwards. There's no way they keep Brown past 9 games, unless a serious injury hits in the next couple of weeks... and even then I'd far rather see him have a big final year in junior than struggling to get 4th line NHL minutes.

Brown has the ability and a really good chance of not only doing well, but with his skill set he could work his way up the line up fairly quickly

I would love to see Brown move up as you say. Sens could certainly use a dominating power forward. Is that this year?

I don't know. White must be ahead of him on the depth chart. Where would you play White?

Personally, I think White has a far greater ability to actually play his way up through the various lines of an NHL lineup, including shifting to the wing as needed. Brown could potentially have a higher offensive upside, but he looks to me like he basically needs to be a scoring line centre to play in the NHL. With both Turris and Brassard in the lineup, that's not going to happen easily - so I'm in favour of putting Brown in the situation where he has the opportunity to play significant offensive minutes with a high degree of responsibility.

I agree, I think White has more of an upside, but White is out right now so Brown is what we have. I think the hard part is that we have to play him and give him the chance.

Yes, play Brown. But unless he plays lights out return him after 9. There are guys like Paul or McCormick to fill in until White returns which should be very soon - maybe even before the 9 games are up.
