Besides the eight minutes where the Hawks went full bore, nothing to lose and the calls went one way, the Blues dominated.

I would have sent Barbashev down before Megan or Thorburn.

After the second hawks goal blues were lucky not to be on the kill again

Brodziak decapitated Hartman.

Over all a great game by the blues

Hawks looked disinterested and Crawford was bad on the first two goals IMO

Keep it going tonight vs Colorado

Agreed. Brodziak should have been called for that one. But to be fair, the Hawks shouldn't have gotten a 4 minute powerplay in the first place. Reffing was once again bad last night, but the missed/bad calls didn't favor one team over the other.

I was at the game, and it was really strange with us getting a 4 minute penalty.

Then today, Sobotka was fined the maximum amount allowable by the CBA for high sticking Patrick Sharp. Did anyone see it? I am assuming that he was bleeding since he got a double minor, but I didn't see the ref calling a penalty until after the scrum from another Hawk attacking him. At first I thought that Sobotka got his stick up/crosschecked/etc the player going after him at the start of the scrum, but the NHL fine stated it was for high sticking Sharp.

Overall, that was a great game by the Blues. Allen wasn't tested much in the first 50 minutes, but played really well when the Hawks finally pushed back.
