If the Kings got off to one of their best starts in franchise history and no one was around to blog about it, did it really happen?

Vegas continues to surprise teams. I thnk the label of expansion team lulls teams into not taking them as serious as they should. Vegas has very quickly shown they can beat teams and are going to be tough opponents night in and night out.

And the Kings have been very good, but still need to be more mindful of long bomb breakout passes as they have been getting picked off a lot and leading to counter attacks that have cost them some goals so far.

they're trying to compensate foot speed with speed through the puck. Live by the bomb, die by the bomb... luckily Quick can erase a good chunk of the mistakes.

The guy is extremely skilled (as we see on that finish) combine that with his size and you've got some mouth watering hopes.

In a perfect world without having to worry about who can and cant be sent to the AHL, this is what i'd like to see,

Neal-Eakin-Perron
Tuch-Vadim-Marshessault
Smith-Lindberg-Leipsic
Bellemare-Karlsson-Haula

I doubt Gallant would go with these guys as he'll probably want some more size, grit in those 3-4 lines but it'd be nice to see. That's a lot of speed and skill in that line up, a lot more than most people thought. Add on the style of which they're playing with and it's looking damn good.

Tuch the real deal.

Wheels and big frame makes him hard to move from in front of the net. He also has some silky hands that help him operate in small areas to create offensive opportunities--all that came into play for Ship to score the second goal.

VGK are still finding their way with overall team chemistry. The first period and even the fist part of the second was sloppy and tight with very few chances for either team. Vegas got some good flow going later based on consistent old fashioned hard work. After the first goal their confidence jumped and they took it harder to Boston and the Bruins never recovered.
A real shame Malcom did not get his shutout against the team who cut him two weeks ago. But, he did make sure that Boston did not score when it mattered.
Buffalo game should be a better pace I bet.
Solid, well deserved win and best yet a whole lot of highly pissed off Boston fans

Pretty good, I like adding mobility with Engelland. In the big picture, however, not sure how long Leipsic can last up here. Some flash plays but also too many mistakes at this point.

I think slow & sloppy is to Golden Knights' benefit. Both Dallas & Detroit almost skated Vegas out of building.

Unfortunately, I missed the last two games, which I'll catch up on soon!
