Clearly offense is not the issue... Even when you're missing 4 of your top 6 forwards. Nope, the mistake this off season was letting go 3 pieces in order to protect a number one pick that looks to be an average if that player in Matt Dumba. With Scandy gone, it's clear which D man Chuck should have been protecting.
Olafson is not ready, Quincy is average, all of a sudden Spurgeon looks average and Reilly looks to still be playing college hockey. This blue line is all of a sudden a hot mess and Dubnyk can't make up for it. |
