Absolute insult to fans if Salic traded Duchene after club gets off to good start. Price only goes up the longer he waits to do a deal.
Why would the Avs be interested in Galchenyuk? Again, what message are you sending to your fans when you trade a proven asset for a player who does not have a hockey heart? This is a no brainer. No deal.

Horrible trade. Why in the world would the Avs trade a top center who is producing again this season (5 points in 4 games) and a pick for a slumping winger and Dman that is getting passed by from multiple other prospects? If anything, the way Dutch is playing so far this season is raising his price, not lowering it to this horrid deal. |

Why would the Avs be interested in Galchenyuk? Again, what message are you sending to your fans when you trade a proven asset for a player who does not have a hockey heart? This is a no brainer. No deal.

Why the trade..cause Galchenyuk had a point a game before his injury, only 23, already has a 30 goal season, 3rd pick overall, impressive skills set....ya not much heart yet, but who know what a change of air could do to him ?
Not saying I would do it if I was Colorado...but I can understand the interest from a team that wont be in the playoff... Relax with the standings...its 4 games...
Edit and Oh yes, yo are loosing Duchene at the end of 2019 |

oh that's absolutely proven to be the case. the reason Duchene hasn't been traded yet is because Sakic gets a better offer every day. so why not just wait until to Oilers come and offer McDavid and Draisaitl? |

Galchenyuk scored 30 goals 2 years ago, was 10th in NHL in points before his knee injury. Not sure why it is not clicking right now. I think he'll thrive in a new environment but would not make that trade. Cannot afford to lose Subban, Sergachev, beaulieu, Juulsen, markov in two years.
I would be willing to part with maybe Lindgren or McNiven however.
