Oh god, let it be over. Wild lose 5-1, I'm starting this season off on a positive note! |

That all changed just after the trade deadline for the Wild as they went 4-10-2 in March
I find it peculiar the Wild fans view their problems as starting after the trade deadline; when in fact Wild had the exact same win/loss ration against playoff teams in the month of February as they did in the first round. |

Neat. Isn't this a nice case of cherry picking. So you think taking the wild's record in a fraction of their games and extrapolating that to an extremely small sample size of games (playoffs) is some kind of magic formula to tell exactly how good a team was? I guess the games against non- playoffs don't count, huh? I wonder why they play them?
40-14-6 prior to deadline and 10-15-2 after. Speaks for itself. |

If you don't think the blog I'm quoting, which mimics the statements of many commenters both here and at the Star Tribune, is a good representation of the view of average Wild fans, take it up with them, not me. |

Where did I say anything about how good the Wild were? The blog pointed out the Wild started struggling last year, i didn't bring it up. All I did waa comment on it, you know, the point of the comment section. And of course beating bad teams means a lot less than how you play against good teams. I don't see many Wild fans talking about how hot the Wild were going into the playoffs on a 4 game win streak. Because they teams they were playing against in those games were bad. I'm not sure why you have a problem with applying that same logic to the games they won in February. |
