I think it's just at the point it doesn't matter, not even rationale conversations about it, people just want AV gone

Appears as Vadim Shipachyov and his camp are looking to find a way to get back to the KHL.

Chytil doesnt bother me near as much as Kampfer and Holden both playing. Is Ruff/AV's plan to play them this year?

I answered you on other blog too, maybe they are trying to generate some trade value for Holden

no way he'll generate any interest if he isn't playing

I'll believe that when someone else reports it. I've gotten the feeling in the past that Aivis isn't exactly the most trustworthy source for things.

I feel like Vegas (frank)ed up whatever trade value Holden had by stock piling mediocre dmen

yeah, true, it's like why trade for anyone when Vegas will give them away like some dude throwing around paper towels

Jan, you go with the flow and post a chart trying to prove everyone else know better than AV. I don’t know what those stats on Holden and Kampfer mean, but watching Smith against Leafs was worst game I’ve seen by dman in awhile. How does his game look on that chart? Does it show guy blowing by him for goal? Or his 2 giveaways that led to another? Not sure how team would finish if guy paid to run team listened to fans

of course it's early and Smith looked so good last year, but man, he looked lost the other night, Girardi's worst day wasn't like that

Totally agree with this. I think that could be why Kampfer wasn’t placed on waivers. Hoping to either build value or maybe depth if others are dealt. I think we don’t plan on keeping Chytil and are probably working on another center

Hank got the shutout and they won their 1st game. Don't really care about the line up changes for 1 game. I'm pretty sure this won't be an all season thing. After that abortion in Toronto, needed a bit of a shake up.

Lmao!! I like Smith, but if that game didn’t deserve a benching I don’t know what does. Still think we panick signed him though. Didn’t want him to hit FA. No guarentee we’d get Shatty

That’s the point!!! Easy to take jabs at them but never give any credit if they play well. Need to call out Smith when he has bad game too.

I think we gotta give some credit to the Leafs do, they are an offensive juggernaught

when they are at home and can control the matchups and can run those offensive monsters against opponent defensemen having a rough night, they are brutal to play against
