in 19 games for the AHL Tuscon Road Runners last year, some guy named Joe Whitney had 3 goals.

in 16 games for the AHL Tuscon Road Runners last year, Anthony Duclair had 1 goal.

Why do you keep including Duclair everytime you run through all the Coyotes promising young potential future stars (something you do every other blog)?

Probably because you yourself can be extremely rude and set the tone for your comment section. If you choose to speak to people a certain way, expect the same in return.

Only 2 got cut. The other 5 were re-assigned to their Junior teams. Both Scott Allen & Michael Houser were off-season signings. Allen played for Bakersfield last year. So I saw him play several times. Houser was in the ECHL last year. Never saw him play.

I am slow with the news, but the Coyotes did cut seven players the other day. Rest assured, you've never heard of any of them. If you look it up and it turns out you have, you need to get a girlfriend.
- James_Tanner

Yeah, but Noel Hoefenmayer and Tyler Steenbergen are awesome names.

I can assure you, I've never heard of them.

And I don't think my wife would be cool with me getting a girlfriend. Just a hunch.

What's the point of mentioning 7 players got cut in your headline if you don't give any information on who those players were, or the context of their release?

Some people actually follow the Yotes and are familiar with the players in their system but I guess that's asking too much from their "official" blogger

It's Tanner. He don't care about no stinking Coyotes. You're talking to a Leafs/Oilers fan.

Not Oilers nowadays, since they're good now and it isn't edgy to like them any more.

Caps, duh! Since everyone likes to label them chokers and underachievers, it's totally awesome to like them.

I guess this means Strome is basically a lock to be cut in the next round?

Strome gonna break Selanne's rookie goal record by all star break, but it will be overshadowed by Duclair having double that by the end of October.

I just hope Duclair put in extra work this off-season. He was putrid in Tucson last year. I thought he was going to light it up and give them a boost. He was mostly unnoticeable when on the ice.
