Good morning to all.

And a happy birthday to Gilbert Dionne. The third wheel in one of the best trades in Flyers' history.

Which group is going where?

I guess one could assume that the group 2 is going to Lehigh, but that isn't a given. Maybe the Flyers want to give the fans a glimpse of some of the NHL players and give the kids a chance to play a "road" game again.

usually both teams end up stacking their home game squad, but those groups are more "stacked" than usual. I am not certain those are the actual squads going to each game

I think Hakstol said today's sets will be the division for the splits. The question will be which group goes to which location. I'd bet G's group goes to Allentown.

So excited that hockey season is almost here! The Flyers will have a more balanced attack with Nolan Patrick playing with Wayne Simmonds and Jordan Weal to supplement the top Philly line of Giroux, Voracek and Konecny. Can see the Flyers scoring more this year and the young defense taking shape...Things are looking up in Flyerland!

Obviously not, but I think it maybe something close to that. I like top 3 line balance with:

Lindblom-G-Jake
Raffl-Coots-Konecny
Weal-Patrick-Simmonds

I would think Filppula could push Raffl on Coots line, but I think the line would do better with a guy who is stronger along the wall and will go to the net like Raffl, rather than a pure playmaker like Filppula.

Filppula would then be a lock on the 4th line, with the other 2 spots up for grabs between Lehtera, Laughton, Weise and Read.

Barring injury, I think it's pretty safe to say that these will be the 14 forwards that they start the season with. I don't see them carrying 8 D.

14/7/2 looks to be the expected roster breakdown.

I see camp being something like 20/9/2 after tomorrow's games and then after each game 1 or 2 forwards get whittled down until they are at 15 or 16 going into the final game along with the 9 d who I think stick around until final cuts.

Oatmeal raisin "cookies" aren't cookies. It's breakfast.

Also, coconut is straight trash.

I'm kinda partial to that rumored line of Lindblom - G - Konecny and moving Jake to another line.

Sounds right to me, the math checks out.
