Yeah, we could've used him the rest of his contract years too if he wasn't always injured.

Rough start but it is only preseason with a lot of unknown pairings etc. Only real concern was the goaltending but want to see what they can do in behind a bit more solid set group before really worrying.

As for Lupul, whole thing just is a lot of with him. He doesn't go through the PA but is healthy enough to snowboard (assuming the pic is of him even). With his injury history there would assume the team put in a clause about dangerous activity like skiing etc as teams do, so did he violate his own contract even while sitting out last season? Have a feeling this should get interesting. He has till thursday to file with the PA so if he doesn't guess he was just full of it.

Leivo was probably their third best forward. Very impressed. Was very strong at Sunday's scrimmage as well.

Let's hope so. I think since game being at home well see kadri and marner lines which which will be a step up from last night one line.

It doesn't really matter at this point but i thought Carrick, Leivo, Moore and both goalies were pretty poor. Thought Aaltonen was alright and Rosen showed some poise.
Don't remember too much of Kapanen or Sosh.

I won't really take too much notice until game 6 or 7 of the preseason though, and even then, not much to garner other than fitness levels.

Agree. Carrick was brutal, Leivo looked uninterested, Moore was bedazzled by the new face off calls.

The result was expected. Ottawa had basically there whole team iced. We Only had one regular line...
