Julien was a fan of that wheel for years... it would make sense.

Another point is we don't have Therrien and DD anymore. I felt how Therrien used DD hindered the entire top 6. Without them, we will see positive results.

For what it's worth, Therrien was excellent in preparing his team for the beginning the season.

Hence why the Habs have a ridiculous record in the last 5 years in October.

But yeah... in the long term... no doubt Julien is probably a better coach overall.

Julien played his 4 th line way too much in the playoffs last season, even when Galchenyuk was not on it. So even if the top 6 is better, you need to play them.

That series was strange. Chucky tossed down the line up, using the bottom lines a lot despite no one scoring. Something was up.

This season though should have us all feeling pretty optimistic heading in. Julien is a high end NHL coach
