Barring any trades (which I feel is very likely)
And what would that be? |

Are they not better to wait after training camp at this point and see what happens there? Sure if a deal is there to be made you pull the trigger, but maybe they really want to see what Drouin can do as a center or if Galchenyuk can bounce back and finally play as a center as well. Same goes for Jerabek. Maybe he can deliver as top 4 defenseman.
Cause let say you make a trade for RNH. You might lose a top propect and/or a high pick + take another high salary on your team. For a guy who may not be the solution. |

Great point and I totally agree.
Unless it's Tavares. |

Tavares is a wet dream, but if you make a trade for him you better have a deal in place. Cause otherwise he might be a very expensive rental. |

i said exactly that when they trade for Drouin, he will be #1 Center in MTL...is he gonna be as good as crosby at center ? answer is no... don't dream guys lol but can he do the job ? i think so, that kid is so talented and smart with a puck.. one of the best puck handler in the NHL...only 22.. im sure Julien can teach him how to play the defensive side to be a really good center in this league..we can look at Bergeron.. Drouin have bigger offensive talent then Bergeron, skillz are just pure ones ! Time will tell i guess... If we can have Drouin and Chuky #1 and #2... who said that montreal have no center ? lol everyone was saying that all summers... after that you still got Danault Hudon and Mccarron that are still very young, plus Poehling and Ikonen that they get in the 2017 draft... i think future is more then great at center position for the Habz... thats my opinion !

Let's just hope Julien will be more patient with Drouin at centre than he was with Galchenyuk last year... |

Galchenyuk was a mess when he came back last year.
And the team needed to stop losing.
He had every right not to be patient. |

For what it's worth, I went at the Habs training facility a few times with my son this summer.
We saw him there every time. |

MB probably answered: "It's your job Claude, I'm already loaded trying to acquire more depth for the team." |

They all probably made a few bucks, or Pacioretty's foundation did.
They still look silly. |
