Meh, Not the first time. Signed him as a #9/10 type guy a few years ago too, Wild picked him up on waivers.

To bad, I didn't mind him. Not all that good, but consistent at holding a starting spot in my opinion. Kind of feels like when we lost Nick Shultz to the Oilers. Not going to loose sleep, but got respect for the guy and wish him the best.

It's a tiny bit bitter/sweet. A great bubble guy for sure when you have a top d man go down to injury but definitely not a guy you want to depend on for more than a couple dozen games a season.

I'm assuming Fletch did not make any offers or he would have most likely re-signed here in his home state. He left last time because he wanted a one way deal and obviously didn't get it again... from either team
