What can the Predators do prevent another Vesey situation with Fabbro? Lets be honest, he isnt cracking our top 4 for the next 3-4 years. Seems like the NCAA players hold all the cards if they are a top end prospect.

Whats so funny about that? Great value on that contract!

It is kind of weird that there is nobody in here talking about it though. Surely the 2-4 preds fans on here are excited

Most Preds fans are at On the Forcheck or Predlines. While Paul writes good stuff, those site have better news and commentary without the trolling...

Trolling is what makes this place great! I can't believe the deals Poile is pulling off especially since he gave Rinne that massive overpayment!!!

Honestly, I think that a lot of that is on Paul. He just tosses his thoughts out--thoughts that are too predictably supportive and positive about the Preds--and then just walks away. He rarely writes anything that gets people thinking, asks questions or starts a conversation and he never chats with his readers in these comments to help get or keep a conversation going. You can't expect many Preds fans to care to respond to blog articles when they know that the person that they're responding to won't be reading it, and that vacuum tends to get filled by trolls. There will never be nearly as many fans posting here as those other sites, but a more engaging writing style and consistent interaction with readers could draw a handful or two of readers who regularly reply. As it is, though, those readers aren't bothering and are being driven elsewhere to discuss the team.

Building a very solid team. Question is, has it got the balls it needs with the Preds Pekka a little inconsistent when called upon to be hard, stiff & strong?

I actually agree with you. Peks needs to be better in the playoffs on the road, period!

Agree.
It seems (at least to me) he stopped responding after the infamous get-the-red-out Hawks ticket situation. Lots of ugly comments from their fans.
For myself I would like to get an answer to a legitimate asked question and wold like to read about some rumors from time-to-time. But with Paul's position with the Preds you won't get that. Thus.....guest writer on occasion ???

Now all Preds need is to make a trade for JT and sign him as he's not looking committed to the Isles. Snow can't be stupid enough to let him go UFA. JT & RJ up the middle with the D in place means Cup glory runs for years to come.

Hmm though you were talking about the Canucks thread ....kinderbuzz results when thought and debate are absent.

Who wants a Dutch oven when they can get a JT burger. But maybe after Preds take JT the Isles will call again for Dutch to play with Eberle. Two small guys to thrive in the safer East.

There are fan sites for all hockey team fans. That's no excuse for not being here. The other sites are too dispersed for group talk within spliced news or articles. This site with one blog topic up at a time for each team gets the most pull for group interaction per team. It's a shame those Pred fans don't see that to come join in. In fact there are Pred fans on other team blogs here on the buzz and they rarely show up here. That's a shame.
