with Price's extension kicking in next season and Markov about to turn 1000, not a chance Bergevin signs him beyond this season. and if any team he was willing to play for would offer 2 years, it would have happened already.

If you think Polak is a good depth signing... you didn't see him play last year. He ahd a few good games... but was a hopeless D at times as well.
