So the Isles are a perennial wildcard team. Obviously no surprise, but wouldn't you think, as an owner, that riding the edge of making the playoffs for 10 years would be enough to stop the ride. Fire Snow, bring in fresh blood and give them the reigns. It's absolutely ridiculous that this idiot still has a job. It was interesting to hear the frustration in your voice about not only the arena situation, but also the roster. I've said it before. This team gets worse because every other team gets better. Snow makes one move, they make 3. He brings in one good player, they bring in 2 or 3. This clown show has to end. The only way it will is if somebody else buys this team and moves it to Seattle, Quebec or KC.

As Dan said, it would definitely be circus if he isn't signed. Especially in Toronto. Unless I missed one, they don't play them until the end of January, in Toronto. Could you imagine the uproar and chatter there if JT wasn't signed by then.

It would be a circus. Isles cannot take this into the regular season. JT needs to be moved by September if not signed. Isles can still survive if they need to trade JT. They cannot let him walk for nothing.

This was the year with Vegas joining the league and all these teams would be looking to trade with each other.

Yeah, that didn't pan out so much. I mean, there were quite a few trades. they were just over the span of 2 and a half days.

Poor EK has so many greater rumors and trades to discuss, he is asking who will be the best Canadian teams.

I'm actually glad that Snow didn't succumb to Sakic's whim and give up the farm for Duch. The price will come down as time dwindles away. I don't think Sakic is dumb enough or stubborn enough to let him walk for nothing.

I'm glad as well. Like Noel and Dan mentioned, plenty of other teams out there and Isles do have more than a few prospects and a couple of 1st and 2nd round picks.

Every day it seem more and more likely. There is still time so I'm not freaking out yet, but I am getting worried. My biggest concern is I don't see Snow trading JT for any reason. He will try to sign him all the way to July 1st. So if JT won't sign then I think we are screwed. Snow won't cut his loses.

Ledecy and Malkin had the time to do the right thing when season ended by Firing Snow . This joke of a organization i think is the only team that gives a GM this much time and still loses.

I wouldn't count on that. Look at how long it took to get rid of Crappy, and Snow is still the GM.

Bottom Line is Snow will not trade JT. How many times has he had the oppurtunity to trade players whose contracts were up and he did nothing. This will be the same thing trust me. He will wait until the last possible minute tells all he tried to keep him and he will go for nothing. The story never gets old.

We gave them a chance to do the right things and they have not come through. Garth should have been fired with Cappy. They were a package deal.
